Jeremiah 29:5-7

⁵ Build houses and dwell in them; plant gardens and eat what they produce. ⁶ Marry and beget sons and daughters; choose wives for your sons and husbands for your daughters, so that they may bring forth sons and daughters. While you are there, you must increase in number, not decrease.

⁷ In addition, seek to promote the prosperity of the city to which I have exiled you. Pray to the Lord on its behalf, for on its welfare will depend your welfare.
